Eliquid

There are many different aids that smokers use when they want to quit smoking. From patches to gum to quitting cold turkey, there seem to be hundreds of ways and strategies to kick the habit. One new technology, Eliquid machines that have been on the market for the last few years has promised to provide a much easier experience when quitting smoking.

Eliquid machines were first invented in China in 2003. From there they were introduced in Europe in 2006 and since then have been marketed in all parts of the world. These machines use a liquid called Eliquid or Ejuice to deliver a dose of nicotine to the lungs of the “smoker.” The liquid is placed in cartridges inside the Eliquid machine and passed through an atomizer that vaporizes the liquid. The now vaporized Eliquid can then be inhaled by the user to get the Nicotine that they would have normally gotten from tobacco products they get it from the ECIG. Proponents of Eliquid machines have said that this is a healthy and safe alternative to smoking since the process does not involve combustion. Since there is no combustion and the Eliquid does not contain many of the harmful chemicals that traditional tobacco products contain they are marketed as a safe way to quit smoking or enjoy smoking without the risks. The problem with these claims is that there is no evidence that Eliquid machines, also known a Electronic Cigarettes, E-cigarettes, Ecigs, and personal vaporizers, can help a person quit smoking. In fact studies have shown that since the Eliquid contains nicotine, a very addictive drug, the user of the machines remain addicted to the substance. In essence it is just a different way to deliver nicotine to the user. Because it is a nicotine device the US Food and Drug Administration has seized many shipments of these machines claiming that as a nicotine delivery system they are subject to federal approval.

One advantage that Eliquid users do see is a savings in money spent. After the initial cost of the actual personal vaporizer the user only needs to purchase the Eliquid to refill cartridges, which are much less expensive than pricey packs of cigarettes.

No matter what way a person chooses to quit smoking it is important that they do their research on the different methods to do so. Since there are so many ways there is probably one that would fit them perfectly. If looking into buying an Eliquid machine to simulate smoking without actual risks they should realize that nicotine is still present and thus still addictive.
